Yesterday at Royal Work Club we had a pleasure of hosting « Immodays », an unusual and innovative real estate forum, organized by Marie Noëlle Kouakou - founder of Tiwandi, a communication agency specialized in real estate. Immodays is a first of its kind B2B forum bringing together key players in the real estate industry in Cöte d’Ivoire, allowing them to meet and discuss around common topics. The fresh and personable approach allowed participants to preschedule meetings with one another, network, share ideas and brainstorm solutions for common challenges, as well as learn about new projects and best new practices in the real estate world.

RWC: Can you tell us a little bit more about Qantara Digital and why did the company pick Abidjan for its next stop?

Morgane: Qantara Digital is a consulting firm guiding the financial sector through its digital transformation. We advise banks and financial institutions in development of customer centered innovative products/services as a part of their digital strategy. Our goal setting up our first African office in Abidjan was be closer to the innovations developed in the areas of mobile banking, Fintech etc. in this part of the world and ultimately accompanying various digital project in West Africa.

Many amongst you have asked us about how it works if one wants to use the RWC space, so let us explain it all. As you know, RWC is a premium work and business club in Plateau, Abidjan. In order to use the RWC space for work or meetings, one has to be a member. We will go over types of membership and what each of them gives you access to. Now let's get into memberships and what each of them offers. We have 2 types of resident memberships and 2 types of social memberships :

This is a daily membership that allows you to work out of the RWC space every day. You can use small meeting rooms at no cost and enjoy all the amenities, complimentary coffee and refreshments.

Starting January, RWC’s walls will be embelished with beautiful paintings by various African and African based artists that will rotate and change every two months. The first exhibition curated by the interior design consultancy Blueprint Africa is called “Force de la Nature”, introducing pieces from the last serie of the Ivoirian artist Justin Oussou.

Justin Oussou is a prolific Ivorian painter, born in 1965 in the region of Anyama, his works have been widely exhibited throughout the years. This new series which translates to Forces of Nature, is reflection of the romantic but sometimes tenuous relationship between man and the earth. Justin Oussou holds a formal degree in visual arts from L’Ecole des Beaux Arts d’Abidjan and currently teaches graphic design at the University of Cocody in Abidjan. The philosophy behind his aesthetic consists of creating a sort of intimacy, complicity and permanent contact between the materials he is using the subjects he is painting. Over his 30 years as a painter, Justin has had the opportunity to participate in over 28 exhibitions globally including in Paris, Brussels, Pretoria, Israel and Dakar.
